Archie & Carol-Anne’s Rustic Wedding at Lyde Court

On the 9th of July 2022, Cal and I had the incredible opportunity to capture the magical wedding day of my cousin, Archie, and his beautiful wife, Carol-Anne. The setting couldn't have been more breathtaking as we found ourselves at Lyde Court, a charming rustic barn venue that left us in awe. Despite the scorching summer heat, the venue embraced the sunlight, illuminating every corner and creating a mesmerizing backdrop for their special day. We kicked off the day by being a part of the bridal preparations in the elegant 'White Room'. This quaint space, adorned with pristine white walls, large windows, and open doors leading to the enchanting gardens, proved to be the perfect sanctuary for the bride and her bridesmaids to prepare for the celebration.
It wasn't long before we transitioned into the much-anticipated ceremony, which took place in the open door barn outside. With the sun shining magnificently, the barn provided an idyllic setting for Archie and Carol-Anne to exchange their vows on this hot, sunny day. Once the ceremony concluded, we wasted no time capturing some memorable group photos with their exuberant bridal party. Laughter filled the air as we captured candid and unique moments, adding a touch of fun and silliness to the occasion.
The festivities continued in the enchanting main barn, where guests reveled in a delightful dinner. The atmosphere overflowed with joy and love as heartfelt speeches took center stage, celebrating the love shared between Archie and Carol-Anne. Amidst this emotional journey, a surprise awaited Archie in the form of a heartfelt video created by Caz. This touching compilation encapsulated the beautiful moments that had woven their lives together so far, leaving not a dry eye in the room.
Cal and I accompanied the couple to the gardens during golden hour to capture their stunning couple portraits. We strolled through the vibrant flowers and bucolic fields, guiding Archie and Carol-Anne to the most picturesque spots to capture their love. As the sun set the venue lit up with fairly lights and the celebrations reached their crescendo. Sparklers ignited the sky, cigars were savored, and beneath a canopy of stars, everyone danced the night away.
