Georgia & Dan’s Black Tie wedding

In September 2023, I had the incredible opportunity to photograph Georgia & Dan's Wedding at the breath-taking Birtsmorton Court. Let me tell you, this venue is an absolute photographer's paradise. Every corner of this place screams perfection, from the enchanting gardens to the castle-like court with its very own moat. Not to mention the charming rustic barns and a charming church that added a touch of vintage elegance to the whole setting.
As I arrived the sun was shining brightly. I dove right into capturing the moments of bride and groom prep, documenting the excitement and nervous anticipation that filled the air. Soon, it was time for their outdoor ceremony, held in the stunning "White Garden". It was like something out of a fairytale.
After the Ceremony the couple and I went off to get some portraits around the gardens and on the beautiful white bridge that crossed the pond.
As the day progressed, we gathered for the group and candid shots right at the front of the court, embracing the rustic charm of the setting.
As the sun gracefully began its descent, painting the sky in fiery hues, I stole Georgia and Dan away for a few more intimate portraits. The golden hour bathed them in a warm glow, perfectly encapsulating the magic of their love.
With darkness cloaking the surroundings, the atmosphere shifted to a vibrant celebration. The reception took place in the charming "Linney", a rustic barn area that exuded rustic elegance. I watched as Georgia and Dan took their first dance as a married couple.
But the excitement was far from over. Dan surprised everyone by picking up his guitar, serenading their guests with his own band. Laughter, dancing, and pure bliss filled the air, creating an electric energy that was contagious.
Just when we thought the night couldn't get any more magical, the guests were ushered outside to witness an incredible firework display that painted the night sky with bursts of color. Sparklers were handed out to the guests who made a tunnel for Georgia & Dan to walk through while I captured the magic of it all.
It was a day filled with love, laughter, and pure joy. As I reflect upon Georgia and Dan's magical wedding, I feel privileged to have been able to capture those extraordinary moments that will forever hold a special place in their hearts.
